Why are you running for Sheriff?

I care deeply about Wright County and believe I can improve efficiency while maintaining strong public safety.

What is your top priority?

Keeping Wright County safe while supporting our deputies and using taxpayer dollars responsibly.

What makes you different from other candidates?

I’ve spent most of my career as a road deputy, not in administration. I understand what happens in our communities from firsthand experience.

What are your views on spending?

The Sheriff’s Office works for the taxpayers. Every dollar spent should be justified and used to improve public safety.

How will you address crime?

By prioritizing violent crime, property crime, and substance abuse through a balanced approach of enforcement, prevention, and community engagement.

What about rural areas?

Rural communities deserve the same level of service and attention as suburban areas.

How will you support deputies?

By providing strong leadership, training, recognition, and a positive work environment.

How will you build trust with the community?

Through consistent actions, transparency, and respectful interactions.

What is your leadership style?

Hire good people, trust them to do their job, and support them with the tools they need.

How will you stay connected with residents?

Through community meetings, town halls, and maintaining a visible presence across the county.
